General Information
Small, lively and instantly recognisable, the Blue Tit is one of Britain’s most colourful garden birds. Its bright blue crown, white face and vivid yellow breast make it stand out against spring foliage and winter skies alike.
Highly agile and curious, blue tits are regular visitors to feeders, often hanging upside down to reach seeds or investigate garden nest boxes. During spring, they play a vital role in controlling garden pests, feeding caterpillars to their fast-growing chicks.
Active, sociable and full of character, the Blue Tit brings energy and movement wherever it appears. Its adaptability and bold colouring have made it one of the most photographed and admired birds in the UK.
